Where you print matters

You have options when it comes to getting your images printed. Some clients choose to download their digital photos and have prints made locally at a nearby store. Others download their digital files and print a few off at home. Whatever route you go, it thrills me to know the images we took together will be seen and enjoyed by your family and friends!

But if you are going to have prints made and care about the quality, then where you print matters. The neighborhood drugstore or big box store offering 5x7s in an hour or might be an option, but remember the old marketing adage: Good. Fast. Cheap. You can only pick two. If “good” is a must-have for your prints, then using a professional photo lab should be your choice.

While you might pay slightly more, you are actually getting far better value for your money, and the ordering can be easy. As an example, for my clients, I deliver their images via a secure, on-line gallery. To order prints, they simply choose a photo, then click the "Buy Photo" button in the bottom right corner. Upon check-out, their order is automatically sent to one of the leading labs in the country. Here are three reasons why I am confident my clients will be pleased with their choice.

1. Better quality.

These are professionals and all they do is print outstanding quality images. They don’t sometimes work in automotive or sell cosmetics. For example, Bay Photo, one of the labs I use regularly, has been catering to professional photographers since 1976. A true pro lab, Bay Photo provides hand color-correction of each print. Their experts ensure superb color and consistency from print to print. They offer better quality materials, in more sizes, and you even have a broad range of finishing options available if you so choose, including mats, frames, mountings, and more. Simply put, your printed photos will look better and last longer.

2. Convenience.

You have a wide range of print options and products available at your finger tips. No need to transfer files or download them. Simply choose the photos you want, place your order, and you will soon find them in your mailbox, safely packaged, just waiting to be displayed in your home.

3. Satisfaction GUARANTEE.

It might sound cliche, but your satisfaction matters. If you're not happy with your order, let me know and I will make it right.
